Contagious Diseases
This is the case even if you have had a negative COVID-19 test, as RAT tests can be VERY unreliable. You may instead have the flu or another respiratory illness, and we also want to avoid spreading these in the clinic too.
Instead, you can book a “Car Consult” online or by calling us on 03 8400 0364. You can then come to the clinic at your appointment time and wait in your car or on the bench seat just outside the clinic. Your doctor will call you to start the consultation, and will come out to you or bring you into the clinic once ready.
You can also book a Phone Consult, however if your appointment is related to the above symptoms, it’s likely that your doctor will want to see you for a Car Consult so they can examine you for proper diagnosis and treatment. Therefore, booking a Car Consult will save you money and get you help sooner.
