Friendship Square Medical Centre is opening on 27 July 2026, and we are looking for VR General Practitioners to join our founding team.

We are particularly interested in speaking with GPs who are looking for a fresh start in a modern, supportive and privately billing general practice. This may include GPs already working in the Kingston/Bayside area who have an established patient base, as well as GPs who are new to the area and keen to build a loyal patient following.

There is strong local demand for both male and female GPs, and we are keen to build a balanced, patient-focused team.

Friendship Square Medical Centre is a doctor-owned and managed boutique GP clinic located near Friendship Square on the Cavanagh Street shopping strip in Cheltenham.

Our newly fitted-out premises have been designed to feel bright, welcoming and professional, with modern consulting rooms and efficient systems to support both doctors and patients.

We aim to provide high-quality, patient-focused healthcare in a friendly, organised and efficient environment.

Our Team

You would be joining a supportive and collaborative foundation team, including:

• 1 full-time GP and 1 part-time GP

• Experienced nursing support

• 2 friendly receptionists

• On-site pathology

• A dedicated practice manager on site most days

Our practice manager is also a co-owner, qualified lawyer and AGPAL accreditor, and is genuinely invested in helping our GPs get busy, feel supported and enjoy working at the clinic.

The Opportunity

We are seeking VR General Practitioners for part-time or full-time sessions.

This is a non-DWS location.

About You

We are looking for a GP who has:

• Current registration with AHPRA

• Fellowship with the RACGP or equivalent
