Dr Ingrid Chung

GENERAL PRACTITIONER

MBBS (Hons), FRACGP, DAME

Dr Ingrid Chung is the principal GP at Friendship Square Medical.

She worked at North Brighton Medical from 2018 to 2026 before co-founding Friendship Square Medical in partnership with the owners of North Brighton Medical.

Ingrid grew up in Beaumaris and is a Bayside/Kingston local. She graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2007 and did her postgraduate training in the Northern Territory. She has worked as a female doctor in the Brighton and Beaumaris areas for several years.

Ingrid has interests in Preventative Health Care, Skin checks and Dermatology, Travel Medicine, Cosmetics, Chronic Disease Management, Family Planning and Women's Health. She enjoys procedural work and performs skin checks and minor skin excisions, iron infusions and implanon insertion. She is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) and can provide Aviation Medicals.

She enjoys teaching, improving standards in general practice and this lead her to expand her non clinical roles. She is a RACGP clinical examiner, and an AGPAL accreditation surveyor.

Ingrid is available for appointments on most weekdays, plus alternate Saturday mornings.
